Exploring The Cubist Works Of Peter Panov

While the term cubist exist within the art world, those working with this form are often considered contemporary, or modern artists. Peter Panov, with his vibrant and colorful cubist paintings is no exception. The painter from Russia, has paintings in galleries, museums and private collections around the world.

Whether a monthly first night event, or a gallery show, showcasing art in any venue is a sign of success. The cubist's paintings, and other artwork are created with the utmost imagination. The paintings which range from that of musicians to cafe diners, movie stars to symbols generally all portray a sense of surprise to the viewer.

For one thing, the painter has a palette rich in color, style and taste, colors which are often derived from a blending of others including some of the dullest on record. Once the pigment is extracted from these dull shades and mixed with more vibrant colors, the results are incredible. Paintings that appear to move while sitting still in colors that are more vivid and colorful than most can not even envision.

When it comes to using imagination, Panov is one of the best, that's what the critiques have to say at any rate. Love, as most would agree, remains in the eye of the beholder. The artist, also knowing this, has placed a number of paintings, including one piece which was created for a private collector on a Facebook page under the artist name, and on the artist's personal website.

A number of the painter's works can be found on Facebook under the artist's name, and on the painter's personal website. One painting in particular which was created for a private collector is now featured on the artist's Facebook page, while it appears a new personal website is still under construction. The artist does note that more images will be uploaded to different galleries on the site over time.

Any young art student would be proud to have the talents of this artist. Known mostly for his Russian background, and cubist paintings, the artist while clearly inspired by Picasso and others, definitely has art which is original in style and design. A true sign of a beloved and successful artist, not only at home in Russia, but around the world.

Most scenes in this medium fit quite well into home or office decor. Often sold as part of a package, these type paintings are also sold as lesser cost prints have been known to grace a number of walls in different type dwellings. Whether housed in an entryway to a historic mansion, or at a local doctor's office, the paintings always draw attention due to the vibrant colors and shapes often found within the cubist art form.

At times, collectors may also find art by this and other artists in auctions around world. Auctions can often be one of the best, fun and easiest and most inexpensive ways to acquire these and other pieces of fine arts. Otherwise, purchasing the same art from a gallery could run hundreds, if not thousands more than those found during auctions. Collectors and artists alike now frequent these auctions, benefits and other affairs not only to sell art, but also for inspiration by viewing and at times bidding, on work by other artists.
