There are annual V3 events that involve bike riding in California in the U. S. Of A. The V3 program is meant for recreational purposes for riders. At the same time, the riders get a chance to support veterans that have sustained serious wounds. This is done through the SFSF, a foundation that supports the veterans. Thus, riders come together every year to have fun and support the veterans. Depending on your experience and capability, you can take the 15, 30, 60, or 100 miles bike ride. To know more about the Hopfest San Ramon event, check out the brief outline below.

The focus of this yearly program is to support veterans that have been injured. Hence, riders that take part in the event should know the main aim of the program. Besides riding, riders get an opportunity to socialize and have fun. There are usually lots of food and drinks in the afternoon. Music is also available and beer from over twenty tastings.

The terrain that the cyclists follow is usually moderate. It has small rolling hills that will not make the ride to be difficult. There is a schedule that must be followed by all riders. The program starts at 6 am when all the cyclists register to take part in the event. All the riders must be back by noon because the celebrations begin from 1 am to 5 pm.

To take part in the festivals, you must be ready to pay a participation fee of thirty-five dollars to seventy-five dollars. The price will depend on the miles you want to cover. Part of this fee will be donated to the foundation, and the rest is used for the preparation. Therefore, if you are willing to take part in the event, ensure that you have the registration fee.

There are several stops that the bikers have to take to rest before they continue with the journey. Once you register for the event, everything will be inclusive. This includes lunch and the festival after the ride. Hence, when you register, no one will ask you to submit any other cost for food or drinks.

All riders will have access to a parking area that is free. This is one of the facilities provided to the bikers. Washrooms and changing rooms will also be available to the participants. Water will be provided, but riders should carry their own just in case. Also, riders should have the right gear for the event.

All bikers will also be given signposts and route cards to guide them during the trip. They will thus trace their path from start to finish. If a rider becomes injured, there are emergency contacts they should call to get immediate assistance. First aid will be done by professionals that have experience and expertise. Therefore, the trip will be safe for riders.

Around 500-2000 riders actively participate in the festival every year. This is a good number that will raise money for veterans. Hence, if you are also interested in taking part in this event, find out the right channels to guide you through registering.
