For any fisherman, the choice of the reel is often a very personal matter. This will also depend on the type of venue and the size of fish that might be caught. Its distance is also something that needs to be considered. The general rule would often emphasize that bigger water will also require bigger reel.

The characteristics of a reel will often follow and see whether there is a certain free spool or bait runner facility. Thus, it is not important to have a free spool because it is only designed to ease life. Reel should be attached properly to its rod to achieve a properly balanced setup.

A big game fishing tackle can be present in different activities. Many use this to catch various main species such as bill fish, large tunas and sharks. It was considered as sport as well in the year 1898 and became popular in the 20th century.
