Different Plants That Grow In Jamaica

Jamaica is one of the world most beautiful tropical paradise. This is well known for its friendly people, interesting culture, delicious cuisine, and breathtaking scenery. Aside from this, there are many plants that grow Jamaica. This beautiful country is a very good place to produce various kinds of plants that are in demand all over the world.

One of the plants being grown in the country is coffee. This kind of plant thrives well in the area because of its warm and moist climate. It is considered as the country's money crop because it is being exported to different parts of the globe. Blue Mountain Jamaican coffee is popular among coffee lovers

Sugar cane is another example of crops that the country makes a lot of money from. These plants are very abundant because it grows best in places with a lot of sunshine. Sugar cane is very important because there are also many products that can be made from it like rum and molasses.

Jamaicans are also known to plant cocoa trees, the plant that is responsible for giving the world chocolate and cocoa. The best coco beans are usually grown in St. Catherine. Coco trees thrive best here because of the mountain range that protects them from the heavy winds. There are four fermentaries in which the plants will be processed.

You should also not forget that tropical countries are also a conducive place to plant different kinds of sweet and tangy fruits. Here, you will be able to find many places that plant grapefruit, bananas, lemons, oranges, and so much more.

Aside from fruits and crops, there are also people who grow flowers that are of different varieties. Even though these are not as popular as coffee and sugar cane, some people export flowers especially orchids to many avid gardeners.

There are still so many things that you can grow Jamaica. The good thing about their place is that it has a wonderful weather and there are different areas in which you have healthy plants.
