What To Consider When Planning Your First Paint Party Jersey Shore

By John Morris

Party planning is something that can be fun and exciting to do. If you are thinking about hosting a paint party Jersey shore you may be trying to figure out how to do so as quickly as possible. While this type of event is not hard to plan there are a few things that you can do that will help ensure your guests have the best time possible. Here is what you need to know to make your first event a success.

If you have a lot of creative friends and family members they may really love this idea rather than playing traditional bridal shower games. Women can gather together and try to reproduce a painting that is on display throughout the event. Usually the artist who painted the original is on hand to offer your guests tips and guidance while they work.

If you are planning one of these events it is just as important for you to plan it properly as it would if you were planning another type of shower. The only difference is that you know how guests will be entertained while the shower is taking place.

One thing to think about first is where you will hold your event. You will need quite a bit of space even if you do not have many guests coming. They will need tables to set up easels on and have room to move around and socialize. You will also need space where the instructor can work as well if they are also completing a piece while the party is taking place.

Picking what to work on is not hard if it is a bridal shower. You may want to have guests work on their own items and create artwork that the new couple will want to display in their home. If you have a theme for people to follow it is a good idea to mention that at the beginning or people may lose time trying to decide what to paint.

Food and beverages are good to have at your party. Guests will likely want to mingle before and after they are done working on their painting and food and drinks will help with this. If you want to serve alcohol you will need a license and a bar tender who can legally serve drinks to your guests. This may be something your location can offer you.

If people don't know about your event they will not be able to attend. Starting to advertise early will help you avoid a poorly attended party. Make sure to let people see what painting they will be working on.

While you may worry that a paint party will not go over well you may be pleasantly surprised. A room full of guests working hard on paintings for the special couple can be a great sight to see and your event will likely be memorable for quite some time to come. Years from now when the happy couple looks at the things created for them by friends and family members they will remember how hard you worked to throw them a great shower or engagement party.
