These floors often provide better options for leaping, jumping and lunging more easily. Acrobatics, athletics and those using cables and other equipment most often prefer to use a sprung floor.

Unlike the United States and other countries, the Chinese people do not share space when it comes to learning and performance. In China, studios are totally focused on education. Whereas, performance spaces are often booked by professional touring groups, individual performance artists and choreographers.

Although, in China, the term studio only refers to a place in which to teach movement skills. Whereas, these spaces are referred to as schools in Europe. Generally, it is up to the studio owner and manager as to what styles are taught at the location. In most cases, these locations host educational programs which offer learning from basic to advanced for children and adults.
