Internet Marketing Companies & Celebrities Who Use Social Media Well

By Robbie Sutter

Social media has become one of the most engaging tools in the world. All you have to do is look at the ways in which celebrities have implemented these websites to further themselves, even if you didn't realize it at the time. Many of these actors, athletes, and other public figures do not receive nearly as much credit as they should for their social media savvy. As a matter of fact, here are just a few of the individuals that Internet marketing companies can tell you about.

Whether you know him as Mr. Sulu or some other character name entirely, George Takei has gone on to make a name for himself on the social media front. All you have to do is look at his Facebook page, which has amassed over 9.7 million likes. Needless to say, these people have taken a shine to his content and sense of humor. As a result, it wouldn't be unwise to call Takei one of the more successful celebrities in the social sense.

Another individual that has done well, in terms of social media, has to be Ellen DeGeneres. Talk show enthusiasts know exactly who she is, and they might be able to tell you just how popular she is on different social networking sites as well. All you have to do is look back to March in 2014, when her selfie featuring other prominent actors at the Oscars became a re-tweeted hit. Since then, others have tried to emulate what Ellen had created.

When it comes to sheer social media stats, which reputable firms like fishbat can pull up, Lady Gaga is nothing short of a powerhouse. She boasts more than 17 million followers on Instagram, over 60 million followers on Twitter and beyond 61 million likes on Facebook. It's clear that the enigmatic musician has taken social media and made it all her own. She's perhaps the biggest social icon for others to follow and perhaps no Internet marketing company can say differently.

Even though there have been other successful celebrities on social media, the ones discussed earlier are among the top tier. They have been able to create engaging content, marketing themselves in the process. What this means is that if you want to find success in your own right, it wouldn't be out of the question to follow their cues. Who's to say that you won't be more inclined to use social media in the future?
