Mistakes You'll Make While Wearing Irish Drinking T-Shirts

By Barry Gaines

Are you ready to raise a little cain on St. Patty's Day this year? All it takes is a will to party hard and some awesome Irish drinking t-shirts to have one of the best times you'll have all year long. The only party bigger than a St. Patty's party is New Year's Eve, and that's all the way at the end of the year! You can really let yourself run wild on St. Patty's Day, but you still need to be careful not to make some critical errors.

The night of St. Paddy's Day is and easy night to make some serious mistakes. One of the absolute worst mistakes you can make is to let your beer goggles cloud your better judgment and take home some poor girl who hates herself enough to be someone's one-night-stand. If you wake up and she's wearing your Irish drinking t-shirts...just let her have the shirt and leave. It's not worth rescuing.

Getting so drunk on St. Paddy's Day that you forget what you're doing and black out is never a good idea. If you're one of those people who don't know how to slow down their drinking and do it responsibly, then you may be full-blooded Irish and truly deserve those Irish drinking t-shirts you wear. If you drink responsibly, most of these other mistakes can be easily avoided.

What never fails on St. Paddy's Day is to see some people fighting in the parking lot. While this may be very exciting and worth a minute of your time to watch, you definitely don't want to be a participant. Your Irish drinking t-shirts could get ripped, you might spill your drink, and you'll probably end up in jail. Your best bet is to count to ten and walk away if your temper gets out of control. No sense in tempting that Irish blood in your veins, after all.

Those are three big mistakes that can save you from some serious misery the next day. Don't sleep with anyone you wouldn't sleep with sober, don't drink too much booze, and hold your temper in check. All you have to do is wear your Irish drinking t-shirts, have fun, and celebrate being Irish...or at least a little-bit Irish.
