True colors will be displayed with this sophisticated equipment which helps for a more accurate tweaking of them. Although, some people who only wish to publish their final pieces on internet do not use NTSC displays.

These people only intend to publish their work on the internet. The use of these expensive materials is not necessary if the target audience is not very particular in the videos' appearance. Some simpler devices like high definition cameras will do.

People need to research about this field before they actually do video color correction. With just the right tools and time, they should find it very entertaining to participate in these activities. Also, they could make it a hobby.
